Rehoming
Many of the animals that come to the RSPCA have had unhappy experiences in life so far, or perhaps have had to be given up by their owners. Such animals make lovely pets given some TLC and understanding in a new home. If you think you can offer a pet a new loving home and are interested in adopting one of our animals, please get in touch with us.

Our adoption procedure allows you to visit the kennels and, subject to a likely match between the home you can offer and the needs of the pet, you can reserve him or her. We then arrange a home-visit and once this has been successful, we will arrange for you to collect your new pet.
We also carry out a post-homevisit some weeks after adoption just to make sure everything’s settled down well and to help with any problems that might have arisen.
Our adoption fees are £100 for a dog, £50 for a cat and £20 for a rabbit.
Most adopted animals go out to new homes vaccinated, neutered and microchipped by the Branch. If any are too young to be neutered at the time of adoption, the Branch will give a voucher for this to be done at a later date. Please look at our pet galleries to see animals wanting new homes.
For more information please phone our branch manager, Paul, on 01733 222188.
If you might like to be considered for the very important work of an RSPCA Branch re-homing visitor you should phone as above. |
