Welcome
Welcome to our new-look website! It contains news of our activities, details of the animals we have available for adoption, and information on how you can get involved with our animal welfare work.
What does the RSPCA Peterborough & District branch do?
- We accept all animals rescued by RSPCA inspectors and animal collection officers in the local area.
- We pay for the boarding of all cats, dogs, rabbits and other miscellaneous animals.
- We pay for neutering, microchipping and inoculations, along with other necessary veterinary treatment, for all the animals in our care.
- We search for suitable homes and loving owners for all our animals.
- We help some people who struggle to pay their vet bills.
As an independent charity, we receive no funding from the national RSPCA, from the National Lottery or from government sources.
All the money we raise is used in the local branch.
We get income from our charity shops in Whittlesey and Peterborough and from fundraising events, donations and collections.
We cover an area that includes Peterborough, Oundle, Stamford, Rutland, Market Deeping, Yaxley, Whittlesey and Wisbech.
